Education:
Masters Degree in Counseling and Human Development from the
University of Iowa. Bachelors Degree in Elementary Education
from the University of Northern Iowa.
Professional
Experience:
Kirkwood Community College Counselor for 12 years. St.
Patricks Elementary School for 11 years (Full time and Part time),
College Community, Norway and Amana School systems as a substitute
teacher.
Bonnie is a former elementary school teacher. Her compassion for
the young has easily transferred to the Kirkwood student body.
She teaches our Career Decision Making course in the Any Time/Any
Where format and Human Potential Lab on the weekend. She works
closely with the Health Sciences department. She offers counseling
services to the Tipton Learning Center each month. Bonnie is
very interested in all areas of counseling but particularly
relationship difficulties and finding positive solutions!
Bonnie’s favorite saying is: "At the end of each day, I
give all my problems to God - He’s up all night anyway!"
