The goal of the mathematics lab is to help promote student success in mathematics at Kirkwood Community College.

Approach

In a non-threatening atmosphere tutors will assist students by

• Providing assistance with problems.

• Creating similar examples.

• Offering suggestion for various methods.

• Guiding to various resources.

• Suggesting study tips.

• Promoting study groups.

• Helping identify topics for review.
