Kirkwood Community College

A-Z Index

Jorge A. López, Architect

Professor Emeritus

136 Jones Hall

I graduated from Washington University in St. Louis with a Masters of Architecture and began working in Florida. After I became licensed in Florida I started teaching part time at the local community college. I really enjoyed the mix of teaching and practicing. I started to look around for a full time teaching position and found a perfect spot at Kirkwood Community College in Iowa.

I have been an instructor at Kirkwood since 1991. I am also a registered architect in Iowa and work on projects when I'm not teaching.

Feel free to contact me anytime. I look forward to hearing from you..
