 Exterior Sheathing
The house is getting ready for the trusses!  The trusses are already delivered.

A view from the front.  The sheathing is installed on the exterior of the building to stabilize it as well as square it up.
After it is in place the windows are cut out.  Once the sheathing is complete, the holes will be cut.

A view from the back.  some of the openings are cut out already on this side.

Can you believe this small bundle contains all the trusses for the house?

Most of the studs are normal size and thickness.  There were a couple of spots in this house where we built  flat stud walls.  Notice how much thinner are the walls behind the tub.  I placed them at backsides of closets and places that won't get too much abuse.

A view of the top plates on the flat stud wall.  The top of each wall receives two top plates.  Notice, too, the extra studs where the walls meet.  This is done for strength as well as to provide a nailing surface for the gypsum board.
