Robert Dotzel
Robert Dotzel is an ordained minister of the Evangelical Lutheran Church in America. He earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Religion, Philosophy, and German from Bethany College in Lindsborg, KS in 1976. In 1982 he graduated from Trinity Lutheran Seminary in Columbus, OH with a Master of Divinity. Since that time he has served as parish pastor of three ELCA congregations in Kansas and Iowa. He has been the ELCA Campus Pastor to the University of Iowa since 1997 and part-time Pastor at Gloria Dei Lutheran Church in Iowa City since the fall of 2008. From 1995-1997, Dotzel was enrolled in the Master of Sacred Theology program at Wartburg Seminary in Dubuque, during which time he completed 18 credit hours toward completion. He currently serves as Vice President of the Johnson County Consultation of Religious Communities.
