Study Abroad Experience

Rome’s art and architecture, its picturesque landscapes, and its cuisine and culture provide students with an ideal laboratory for exploring Italian aesthetics and history.  Classes convene at famous Roman historical and cultural sites—the Colosieum, the Forum, the Borghese Gallery, The Sistine Chapel, and Piazza Navona. Visiting these historical and cultural sites enables students to comprehend how the historical and cultural past continues to shape studies in the Humanities, especially literature. The trip will not only expand your cultural horizons but will enrich your understanding of and appreciation for ancient and contemporary Roman culture.
