To send your paper to the COW do the following:

  1. Attach a file of the document you wish to have read to your e-mail request. At Kirkwood, we can read Microsoft Word documents. Or, save your work as an rtf and attach to your e-mail. You may also copy and paste your paper into your actual e-mail document.
  2. Follow the directions for attaching a file in your specific e-mail program. Check your e-mail "Help" for directions on how to attach a file.
  3. In the text of the e-mail request, state specifically what aspect you wish the person to examine while reading your paper. Guidelines
  4. Please include either the assignment itself or at the very least a description of the assignment.
  5. Include the name of your instructor.
  6. Allow two days before expecting a response--three to four if you send a document on the weekend.
