A graduate from Kirkwood Community College in Mechanical Engineering
Technology, he worked as a mechanical designer and technical writer
for sixteen years before returning to teach in the same program. Tom
attended the University of Texas El Paso, Defense Language
Institute, the University of Iowa, Iowa State University, and the
University of Wisconsin at Madison.
Professional
Experience:
Associate Professor of CAD at Kirkwood
Community College, Tom teaches CAD to the Architectural,
Mechanical, Computer Numeric Control, Interior Design programs, and
Adult evening and weekend classes. Tom instructed CAD at Kirkwood
six years part time and ten years full time.
