 More Framing 
Rain really hampered some progress this week.  It was just so sloshy outside.  
Today was the first day in a while where they could really get stuff done!

A view of the front.  Most of the plywood sheathing is on.  The roof of the garage already has the felt paper.


This is a 3 foot tall retaining wall that my wife and I put up last weekend.


Plumbing is getting started!  Most of the waste-venting is in place.


A view of the Living Room with the fireplace.  Originally we were going to have the fireplace in the middle but we decided it took too much space and looked too big. We placed it in a corner and set it down so it wouldn't be so imposing. There will be a niche and mantel above the firebox opening.

The stairs are in place!  Now we don't have to travel outside in the mud to get
from one level to another.  The treads are not the finish ones yet.  They are temporary.


Look at the amount of waste that happens on a typical site!  
I just want to get in there and use the scraps to build something!
